Hazlina Abdul Halim on Singapore Sports Council (Amendment) Bill

The Singapore Sports Council (Amendment) Bill must be poised to take sports in the country to the next chapter, said MP Hazlina Abdul Halim. Speaking in parliament on Tuesday (Jan 13), she urged the government and private sector to do their best to ensure that sport organisations have sufficient resources to support the ambitions and performance of athletes. They should also forge new partnerships to ensure that sport always remains relevant, accessible and meaningful for all Singaporeans, she added.
