Jamus Lim on motions for grants to support IMF trusts

As of 2025, Singapore had pledged S$1.25 billion to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to help vulnerable member countries deal with economic shocks. Has this amount been fully disbursed, asked MP Jamus Lim in parliament on Wednesday (Feb 4). He also sought clarification on the choice of Sudan for debt-relief support from a list of 39 heavily indebted poor countries.
