World reacts to ICC prosecutor seeking Israel, Hamas arrest warrants
China has said it hopes the International Criminal Court will maintain an objective position, after its decision to apply for arrest warrants for top Hamas and Israeli officials. Both sides have been accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity. Israel and Hamas have dismissed the ICC prosecutor's accusations. Italy has criticised the ICC, saying it is unacceptable to put Israel and Hamas on the same level.
