Voices of Change - CNA

Imagine a future shaped by the passionate voices and innovative ideas of our youth. Through the Youth Panels initiative, young Singaporeans are contributing to that future by developing policy recommendations to drive change.

The four inaugural panels – #LifeHacks, #JobHacks, #TechHacks and #GreenHacks – tackle crucial topics like financial resilience, careers and employment, digital well-being and environmental sustainability.

Organised by the National Youth Council and supported by the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, the Youth Policy Forum is a milestone event of the Youth Panels. It took place on Aug 24, and saw more than 1,000 youths in attendance. For the first time, the Youth Panels presented their preliminary recommendations to the public. Singaporeans are invited to provide their feedback to help the panels further refine their recommendations before they are submitted to government agencies by the end of 2024.

The #LifeHacks panel presented their preliminary recommendations on improving financial literacy among youth to Mr Lawrence Wong, Prime Minister and Minister for Finance.
