#Jobhacks preliminary recommendations
Based on the #JobHacks panel’s research, factors such as supply chain disruptions during the COVID-19 pandemic and potential geopolitical risks have driven the desire to increase supply chain resilience, and the shift of factories, offices and jobs to India and Southeast Asia.
While this presents opportunities for Singaporean youth, many of whom recognise the value of gaining regional work experience and exposure, not all may have the information and tools they need to venture abroad.
To support youth in exploring and taking up opportunities in Southeast Asia, the #JobHacks panel proposes to develop a consolidated roadmap to increase their knowledge on careers in Southeast Asia, facilitate mentorship and networking opportunities with overseas Singaporeans, and increase accessibility and availability of regional opportunities.
