In ‘Destination Anywhere’, Melanie Oliveiro finds out where fashion lovers can go to check out a showcase in the heart of Jewel Changi Airport. Called ‘“Made in Singapore: The Design Stories” and organised by Temasek Polytechnic, the exhibition boasts a rich range of products and designs from Singaporean creatives who are also Temasek Poly alumni. Temasek Poly’s School of Design director, Elaine Ho, will talk about what is showcased by the 15 alumni designers and Teng Run Run, founder of fashion label PaoPao, will talk about what she’s exhibiting and how far she’s come since graduating from the polytechnic.

The one-day event is called the SWAG Protect Asian Cats From Trafficking and Trade (PACT) Fundraising Lunch. Held on Saturday 21 June at Colombian restaurant Latido, Kanitha Krishnasamy from NGO TRAFFIC and Carmen Pang from the Singapore Wildcat Action Group will talk about the lunch’s itinerary, what issues about wildcat trafficking will be discussed and how much money is needed to be raised from this fundraising event.
