At the China-Myanmar border, there's a half-Chinese, half-Myanmar village called Yinjing in Chinese, or Mangxiu in Burmese. As part of its Belt and Road plan, China is building cross-border economic zones like this with Myanmar, Vietnam, Russia and works are underway for one with North Korea.
