According to the latest salary survey guide by Robert Walters, three in four professionals are open to returning to their previous employers. Besides coming back to higher salaries and new job scopes, what other benefits do boomerang employees get when they return? 

Our guest Josephine Chua, HR director at Aloft Singapore hotel, discusses the pros and cons of hiring boomerang employees.

Josephine Chua on the importance of communicating the reason for rehiring:
The internal immersion (and) onboarding process for boomerang employees (are) equally if not more important than (for new hires), as you'll need to communicate with existing employees on why this employee has been rehired.
Josephine Chua on HR having a progressive mindset when people boomerang back:
It's not about setting (policies) that (decide) how many times an employee (can be rehired), instead it's about setting processes to evaluate boomerang employees ... and their organisational culture fit and contributions.
