Court documents stated that the 49-year-old was in Clarke Quay as he had earlier visited a few entertainment establishments to have dinner, drink and listen to music.

The victim had left Zouk, a popular nightspot in the area at 1.50am. She found a stone bench to sit on as she had wanted to vomit.

That was when she was approached by Gregersen who sat down beside her. She then vomited, prompting him to lead her to another bench.

At this juncture, the victim's 22-year-old friend whom she had texted and called moments ago rang her cellphone to check on her well-being.

Gregersen picked up the phone call and confirmed that they were near the reverse bungy feature.

After ending the call, Gregersen patted her back. Seeing that the woman did not react, he groped her and touched her private parts.

Gregersen's actions went on for a few minutes. The victim was unable to fend him off as she was tipsy, court documents stated.

A 55-year-old security guard, who witnessed the incident, saw her being unresponsive as she was being molested.

Minutes later, the victim's friend arrived and led the victim away from Gregersen.

He could have been jailed for up to two years for the offence.
