Goh Pei Ming on ‘serious breach’ in handling of Megan Khung abuse case
Two police officers who were under pressure did not follow the established operating procedure in the handling of the fatal abuse case of Megan Khung. This lapse was a “serious breach” and it resulted in a “tragic outcome”, said Minister of State for Home Affairs Goh Pei Ming. Replying to MPs’ questions in parliament on Wednesday (Nov 5), he assured the House that the police will learn from this and reinforce procedures and training for its officers.
