Abdul Samad Abdul Wahab on Building a Healthier SG
“Good health is real wealth”, said labour NMP Abdul Samad Abdul Wahab as he outlined the role that unions have played in supporting preventive care for workers. Speaking in Parliament on Tuesday (Oct 4) during the debate on the White Paper on Healthier SG, he asked if the Ministry of Health could provide a guide on the kinds of medical checks people should prioritise at different ages, allow individuals to use MediSave for additional medical checks they might want to do and create more designated centres for health screening.
