In 2022, the Traffic Police (TP) received about 420 complaints on speeding, while the Land Transport Authority (LTA) received about 3,600 reports on illegal modifications, said Senior Minister of State for Transport Amy Khor in her reply to an MP’s questions in Parliament on Wednesday (Mar 1). She said when TP officers on patrol detect a speeding vehicle with suspected illegal modifications, the case will be referred to LTA for further investigation.
