Authorities intend to evacuate 2 S'poreans from Mount Dukono on May 10, as 7 others return to S'pore

Indonesian authorities say they intend to evacuate two Singaporeans from Mount Dukono on May 10. The rescue mission has stopped for the night on the second day. At the same time, Singapore's Foreign Affairs Ministry (MFA) says seven Singaporeans who were on Mount Dukono are currently en route to Jakarta and will return to Singapore on May 10. MFA adds it appreciates the ongoing efforts of local authorities amid rescue operations in highly challenging conditions. Nadirah Zaidi reports from Tobelo, the town closest to the volcano.
