Budget 2026: All Singaporean households to get S$500 in CDC vouchers in January 2027
All Singaporean households will receive S$500 in Community Development Council vouchers in January 2027 to help with their living expenses. The vouchers are expected to benefit about 1.4 million households. Prime Minister Lawrence Wong said this is on top of extra utilities rebates and payments to reduce cost-of-living pressures and extra utilities rebates. Singaporeans will also get between S$200 dollars and S$400 dollars in a one-off Cost-of-Living Special Payment. The payout depends on property ownership and income. Mr Wong also announced additional support for aspiring parents and young families.
