While the Ethnic Integration Policy is needed to prevent racial enclaves, it seems "unfair" that existing minority flat owners have to carry the burden of accepting lower prices when selling their flats, said MP Lim Biow Chuan. Speaking in Parliament on Tuesday (Mar 8), he suggested providing a form of compensation to affected sellers based on the Housing and Development Board's independent valuation of the flat.
