Committee of Supply 2022 debate, Day 7: Rahayu Mahzam on International Conference on Communities of Success
The minority Muslim community in Singapore “often faces unique and different challenges to develop in a non-Muslim majority society”, said MP Rahayu Mahzam. She said the planned International Conference on Communities of Success (ICCOS) will be a meaningful platform to learn about the efforts of other communities in navigating such issues. In Parliament on Thursday (Mar 10), Ms Rahayu asked the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS) to detail its key objectives and expected outcomes from ICCOS.
