Committee of Supply 2023 debate, Day 5: Jessica Tan on partnering to co-create shared spaces
A better understanding of the design of space and the involvement of community partners and residents in place-making and place-keeping can contribute to the mental well-being of residents across different demographic groups, said MP Jessica Tan in Parliament on Thursday (Mar 2). Citing the example of a co-created Art Farm in Changi-Simei, Ms Tan asked how the Ministry of National Development can support such efforts in older estates amongst community stakeholders, to re-imagine and co-create shared spaces to promote residents' well-being and inclusivity.
