Integrated Facility Management (IFM) and Aggregated Facility Management (AFM) will help achieve synergies and cost savings in the built environment sector. They include managing agents, security, waste management, lift maintenance and pest control, among others. NMP Raj Joshua Thomas shared this in Parliament on Thursday (Mar 2). He asked what efforts are being made to encourage these sectors to come together to bid for IFM and AFM contracts. He also asked how buyers who are accustomed to tendering for such services separately can be encouraged to start tendering for IFM and AFM contracts instead.
