Committee of Supply 2023 debate, Day 6: Ang Wei Neng on implementation of Healthier SG
In Parliament on Friday (Mar 3), MP Ang Wei Neng asked the Ministry of Health (MOH) for an update on the progress and challenges of getting general practitioners (GPs) on board the Healthier SG initiative. He also wanted to know if Singaporeans can expect to buy medications for chronic diseases from GPs at a price that is comparable to that of polyclinics. Mr Ang also asked if MOH would be keen to tap on health carnivals organised by community clubs to encourage senior citizens to sign up for Healthier SG.
