02:35 Min

In Parliament on Thursday (Feb 29), MP Nadia Ahmad Samdin praised the Singapore IP Strategy 2030 for its focus on supporting businesses in securing their intangible assets (IA) and intellectual property (IP). She asked for updates on efforts to make IA-IP resources more accessible, including the rollout of training courses and provision of consultation services. She wanted to know which sectors the Government currently targets for company-specific engagement and whether there are plans to expand the range of sectors. She also asked if the IP strategy will include guidance on how creatives - especially younger ones and small creative businesses - can manage and commercialise their IP assets.
