Committee of Supply 2025 debate, Day 3: Eric Chua on sustainable waste management

Singapore’s national recycling programme aims to make recycling more convenient, but there are several challenges, said Senior Parliamentary Secretary Eric Chua. Speaking in parliament on Tuesday (Mar 4), he highlighted the concerns over the effectiveness of the system and asked if additional investments can and should be made to upgrade the infrastructure to support better recycling practices.
