He noted that relying on a single source for critical high-end systems may create a strategic vulnerability amidst current global instability, and wanted to know how the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) is diversifying and sourcing from a wider range of global partners to mitigate single point failures in the supply chain. He also wanted to know if MINDEF has robust clawback clauses within the contracts and if it provides for liquidated damages for delays.
