Dr Christopher Cheok, Acting Chief and Senior Consultant, Department of Forensic Psychiatry at the Institute of Mental Health, gave oral evidence to the Committee of Privileges (COP) on Wednesday (Dec 22), as it looks into a complaint that former Workers' Party member of Parliament Raeesah Khan breached parliamentary privilege.
The COP said that it invited Ms Khan to undergo a psychiatric assessment after WP leaders made several assertions regarding Ms Khan's mental condition when they gave evidence to the committee.
