Eric Chua on help for pregnant mothers who are minors
Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Social and Family Development Eric Chua said a multidisciplinary team helps pregnant mothers who are minors by giving emotional and practical support. Team members include doctors, nurses, counsellors and medical social workers. After childbirth, the team will also continue to follow up with the mother for review. He said this in Parliament on Friday (Mar 1) in response to an MP's questions.
