High Court dismisses Pritam Singh's appeal against conviction for lying to parliamentary committee

Leader of the Opposition Pritam Singh has admitted that he took too long to respond to former Workers' Party MP Raeesah Khan's lie in parliament. He said this after losing the appeal against his conviction for two counts of lying to a parliamentary committee. The verdict ends his legal battle that lasted more than 1.5 years. The WP released a statement after the hearing, saying it is studying the verdict and grounds of the decision. Jeraldine Yap reports.
