Joan Pereira on National Symbols Bill
Residents in HDB rental flats do not have the space near their front door or at the back outside their kitchen windows to hang the national flag. MP Joan Pereira, who raised this concern in Parliament on Tuesday (Sep 13), wanted to know if the Government can share how else they can display the flag. She also stressed the importance of public education on the use of national symbols. She wanted to know how the Government plans to educate the public on this.Â
