Leong Mun Wai on Israel-Hamas conflict

06:22 Min

The Progress Singapore Party (PSP) is calling on the Government to enhance education on the history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict so that Singaporeans will be better informed and less likely to be swayed by inaccurate or biased discourse. NCMP Leong Mun Wai raised this in Parliament on Monday (Nov 6). He urged Singaporeans to be mindful of what they say and do on the issue, especially online, and to report any signs of potential radicalisation to the authorities. He said PSP rejects any attempt by foreign players to influence Singaporeans or dictate to Singapore what it should do in relation to the conflict. Mr Leong spoke in support of a motion raised by three PAP MPs on the fallout from the war.
