Modi arrives for G7 summit as India and Canada seek to reset frayed ties
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Canada for the G7 summit. This will be his first in-person meeting with his Canadian counterpart Mark Carney, as the pair look to reset frayed ties. Canada's former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had accused India of ordering the killing of a Sikh activist on Canadian soil in 2023. Mr Modi is also scheduled for other bilateral meetings, saying he will emphasise "priorities of the Global South". Neha Poonia reports from New Delhi.
