Ong Ye Kung on reviewing COVID-19 safe management measures

14:11 Min

Even as the Omicron wave has passed in Singapore, the country will continue to take a step-by-step approach to COVID-19 safe management measures (SMMs) that has served it well so far. Once COVID-19 cases subside further, the authorities will consider further easing of measures, which could include reviewing the distancing rules between tables in F&B settings. They will also relook TraceTogether, SafeEntry and vaccination-differentiated SMMs. Health Minister Ong Ye Kung said this in Parliament on Monday (Apr 4) in response to questions from Members of the House.
