She stressed the need to combat the ongoing threat of phishing through experiential training. She wanted to know if the Government would consider encouraging individuals or organisations to have phishing simulation exercises. She noted that the Law Enforcement and Other Matters Bill strives to enhance Singapore’s ability to combat scams and strengthen the effectiveness of Home Team operations. She described the proposed changes as timely and necessary to bolster Singapore’s defence against fraudulent trends and activities.
