Singapore retains top spot as Asia Pacific's leading meeting destination
Singapore has held on to its position as Asia Pacific's top meeting city, according to two international surveys. Some reasons cited were its strong global connectivity and reputation as a safe, trusted and neutral business hub. Singapore's Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector saw a standout performance last year, jumping 35% to rake in S$2.3 billion. The Singapore Tourism Board says a healthy pipeline of major events has been secured through to 2032, particularly in growth sectors like tech. Beatrice Yap reports.
