Workplace safety: 2 weeks of voluntary Safety Time-Out amid recent spate of deaths
The Manpower Ministry has called for a nationwide two-week voluntary Safety Time-Out amid a recent spate of incidents. Over the past month, seven workers died in five separate workplace incidents across different sectors. For the first six months of this year, there were 21 fatalities.
