MOE to provide teachers with more support on using AI

Teachers in Singapore will receive more support on how to use AI purposefully and responsibly. Training will range from foundational AI literacy to more advanced applications, equipping teachers to design lessons, improve productivity and use AI in assessments such as marking scripts and grading projects. The launch of the Teacher AI Literacy Professional Learning Roadmap will help educators keep pace with the new tech. The Education Ministry said the aim is to help teachers make informed decisions about when, how and whether AI should be used to help students. Sabrina Ng reports.
