PM Lawrence Wong to make introductory visit to Japan from Mar 17 to 19
Prime Minister Lawrence Wong will be in Japan from Mar 17 to 19, where he will meet his Japanese counterpart Sanae Takaichi. The official visit takes place as both countries mark 60 years of ties, and is part of Mr Wong's introductory visits to key partners in the region. Japan is among Singapore’s top trading partners, with more than 5,000 Japanese companies operating in Singapore today. Bilateral services trade has expanded significantly to around S$68 billion annually, driven largely by digital services and growing collaboration in emerging sectors. Sherlyn Seah reports from Tokyo.
