Committee of Supply 2026 debate, Day 3: Low Yen Ling on making it easier for businesses to tap funding
Businesses will soon find it easier to tap funding under a new scheme that creates “a single shopfront” for Enterprise Singapore’s three flagship grants. Companies will only have to submit a single application for the grants known as MRA, PSG and EDG. The scheme, called the EDGE grant, will be launched in the second half of this year and support up to S$100,000 annually for eligible activities. It was announced by Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry Low Yen Ling in parliament on Monday (Mar 2) as part of a new "Business Refresh" package. Among a slew of other support measures - more help for companies to venture abroad and for heartland shops to rejuvenate themselves.
