Jasmin Lau on protecting citizen data from foreign-headquartered vendors

The government has established comprehensive safeguards to protect citizen data when working with any vendor. It will continuously monitor vendor compliance, conduct regular security assessments and update its frameworks to address emerging risks and maintain public trust. Minister of State for Digital Development and Information Jasmin Lau highlighted these safeguards in reply to parliamentary questions on Tuesday (Apr 7).
