Zaqy Mohamad on fair treatment for employees under Progressive Wage Model
To date, the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), as well as the respective lead sector agencies of the Progressive Wage Model (PWM) for the cleaning, landscape and security sectors have not received feedback about demotions or salary cuts due to failure to pass PWM training requirements. Employees who face challenges in completing PWM training requirements due to language or literacy limitations can approach SSG for assistance. Those who feel unfairly treated can approach either their unions or MOM for assistance. Senior Minister of State for Manpower Zaqy Mohamad said this in reply to an MP's questions in Parliament on Tuesday (Feb 14).
