“State Property was conceived as a canvas for Ruiyin and I to express our vision of the world. With a design-first philosophy, our collections are deeply personal, shaped by our unique perspectives towards jewellery,” said co-founder and industrial designer Afzal Imram. Co-founder and global award-winning jewellery designer Lin Ruiyin hones the concept and carefully selects materials to breathe life into their vision.

The Voyager collection, for instance, was born from the founders’ fascination with the phonograph recordings launched into space aboard the Voyager spacecraft in 1977. The pieces in the collection are named after both historical and contemporary adventurers. “The Miura pendant series, for example, is named after Yuichiro Miura, a Japanese alpinist who made a record-setting ski descent from Mount Everest at age 80. These expressive pieces aim to channel the wearer’s inner adventurer,” shared Mr Afzal.
The Miura Jet Black Pendant exemplifies this with its cascade of diamonds set against jet-black enamel. A prominent baguette-cut diamond, flanked by round diamonds, enhances the visual allure. The Miura Enchantress Signet Ring has a similar design ethos, but introduces an emerald at its heart, encircled by a constellation of diamonds for a mesmerising effect.
