Home Team NSmen are “not treated on par and given the same level of support” as their counterparts in the Singapore Armed Forces, possibly because of a “lack of resources”, said MP Patrick Tay. He said he hopes the Ministry of Home Affairs can find ways to better appreciate and engage Home Team NSmen, who serve in the police force and Singapore Civil Defence Force. Mr Tay spoke in Parliament on Thursday (Mar 3).
