Committee of Supply 2023 debate, Day 7: Nadia Ahmad Samdin on developing Malay-Muslim community leaders
To ensure that Malay-Muslim organisations continue to be relevant, leadership renewal must be an important focus, said MP Nadia Ahmad Samdin in Parliament on Monday (Mar 6). She cited the example of the Tunas Bersama M3 programme, which was established to nurture the next generation of Malay-Muslim leaders. She asked how the Government can enable the next generation of community leaders to make more impactful contributions to the community and country, how it can support leadership transition and succession planning in Malay-Muslim organisations, and how the organisations can play a greater role in nation- and community-building.
