04:22 Min

In Parliament on Thursday (Mar 7), Leader of the House Indranee Rajah moved a motion to allow six Parliamentary questions (PQs) filed by NCMP Hazel Poa in February, but which were inadvertently omitted from the order papers for the February and March sittings, to be listed on the order paper for the next available sitting on or after Mar 13 - over and above Ms Poa’s usual quota of five PQs for that sitting. Ms Indranee explained that the PQs were omitted due to an IT system issue that had not been picked up. She said the Parliament Secretariat has taken steps to tighten the IT system and strengthen the processes for the receipt of questions. The motion was passed.
