Li Shiying is a 15 year-old Chengdu teenager sitting for the senior high school enrolment exams. Her mum is anxious because she wants Shiying to go to the best school in the district, which would improve her chances of getting into university. But Shiying is passionate about her uniformed group club, and refuses to give up its activities to focus on her exams — which leads to fights with her mum, especially after her results are in.
