Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim on managing Haj arrangements

Singapore has a quota of 900 places for Haj pilgrims and has requested for more places from Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. From this year, Saudi Arabia will require valid medical health certificates from pilgrims. The Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS) and Ministry of Health have worked with local healthcare providers to help pilgrims fulfil this requirement. Acting Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim said this in reply to an MP’s question in parliament on Wednesday (Jan 14).
