NATAS travel fair sees larger turnout amid strong Sing dollar

Singapore's largest travel fair, organised by the National Association of Travel Agents Singapore or NATAS, drew a much larger turnout at its latest edition in March 2024. Nearly 10 per cent more people visited the event that had more smaller travel firms taking part for the first time. Tour agents say the persistently strong Singapore dollar is a key factor behind this wanderlust, especially to destinations like Malaysia and China. The next fair in August is expected to occupy a bigger space with more exhibitors. Richa Mathew tells us more.
