05:16 Min

A new Disability Trends Report revealed that more persons with disabilities (PWDs) have full-time jobs and better quality of life with a higher income. The study involved 2,000 PWDs and their caregivers. It's the first such report by the Social and Family Development Ministry and the National Council of Social Service. Although public attitudes are generally affirmative, positive attitudes towards PWDs dropped by nearly eight percentage points from 2019 to 2023. The number of people who are positive towards PWDs in the workplace also fell by nine percentage points. Alexandra Anand reports.
