Seoul calls for immediate withdrawal of North Korean troops allegedly in Russia

Seoul has demanded the immediate withdrawal of North Korean troops allegedly in Russia. It has also warned of a response to any acts that could threaten its core interests. The Russian embassy in South Korea has released a statement, saying that cooperation with the North is not directed against the South's security interest. Seoul's spy agency reported on Friday that some 1,500 North Korea troops are already in Russia, and Pyongyang is planning to send about 12,000 more. Megumi Lim reports from Kyiv.
