Chocolate manufacturer Barry Callebaut opens global innovation centre in Singapore
Leading chocolate manufacturer Barry Callebaut has opened a centre in Singapore to accelerate R&D of products through AI and advanced innovation. This is its first such global innovation centre outside of Europe. Barry Callebaut said being based in Singapore allows for supporting large emerging markets such as China, India and Indonesia. Barry Callebaut's local workforce is now 300 strong. The centre will host more than 30 specialised roles, including engineers, food scientists and chefs.
