Japan seeks to deepen energy, maritime cooperation with India during PM Takaichi's visit

Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi is headed for New Delhi for high-level talks with her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi. On the agenda: Economic security and regional stability, with both leaders looking to strengthen supply chains and bolster energy security. A liquefied natural gas agreement could also be announced. Their summit will also seek to deepen defence and maritime cooperation, reinforcing their shared commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific. Ishan Garg reports from New Delhi.
