Would the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority consider more favourably the permanent residency (PR) applications of seniors, especially those who have been residing in Singapore for decades and have strong family ties here? MP Cheng Li Hui asked this in Parliament on Friday (Feb 24). She also wanted to know the number of new citizenship and PR applications granted in 2022 and if the numbers were still impacted by COVID-19.
