Hany Soh on moving towards a low-carbon society
The community plays an important role in raising awareness and encouraging more to shift towards eco-friendly lifestyles, said MP Hany Soh. Speaking in Parliament on Wednesday (Jan 12), she said the community has made good progress in embracing green living. One example is the work of the Action for Green Towns to make every PAP-managed town zero waste, energy efficient and greener. Another "shining example" is "An Artisan's Christmas SG Bazaar", which promoted sustainable materials and processes. She said many businesses and jobs can be transformed with green knowledge and skills through education.Â
